Good article--not as biased or imflammatory as the rest of the media on this 
topic. Just the facts--maybe that's a nyt thing?

Ain't scientific, but to me Explorers have always "looked tippy" when 
compared to cherokees 'n such. I guess I'm not surprised.

FWIW, IMO if Ford/Firestone/the frozen yogurt guy/etc. truly did something 
wrong (feel free to define 'truly' and 'wrong') then they should be 
punished. But tippy trucks have been around forever, as have muscle cars, 
sports cars, mom's wagon--each with its handling caveats and dangers. 
(Unintended acceleration anyone?)

If ford is to be punished, it should be for making them ugly!

(FYI this article speaks to Ford rollover deaths regardless of tires)
