Ran into rear on my girlfriend's brother's Pathfinder, who's rear bumper is 
JUST hood height.  A cop came flying up behind us - we were both turning left 
onto a street, he made the turn and stopped, and then stopped me - I was 
going about 5mph, but it was enough to turn the hood and grill to mush.  No 
light, fender, bumper damage - only the hood, radiator support, and grill 
(and lower trim piece, stainless) which stopped a 2800lb car in 5 inches.
In any event, if someone in the NE has a white hood, that will be grand.  I 
have a silver hood already, but would prefer not to mess with the paint on 
the car, considering its condition.  Chris, I'll let you know on the grill 
(and stainless trim), ASAP - I'm not sure how soon I'm going to be able to 
fix it, though.  The pathfinder comes first - very much less damage, but I'm 
sure it'll cost at least 1,000$.  Nice, just when I was on my feet.
