this is debatable...many people only use pink stuff. I tried it, and it was
fine. I also tried the green stuff [decent brand] and it also worked fine.
Basically you should follow the owner's manual which says it should have
these properties:
-corrosion inhibitors [all coolant I think has this]
-no phosphates [many have this but not all]
Audi has a part #ZVW 237 102 for coolant, that might be interesting to see
if anyone has used that. I wonder what color it is. You should read the
bottle of antifreeze and just make sure it contains no phosphates. Check w/
the cooling sect in the Bentley [sect. 19 I think] and look for any updated
requirements for the 200. The pink stuff won't do any harm, but it's
expensive and not local. The green stuff can be bad, but there are brands
that don't use phosphates. The pink stuff is also anti-ammine [ammine is
chemically similar to ammonia]. But my Bentley makes no mention that
anti-ammine is important...again check w/ yer Bentley....
