Porsche brakes on a 4000tq?

    Well I remember reading a post or a web page that had instructions for
fitting single piece TYP89 struts in a 4k.  The only reason to do that would
be to fit G60's or utilize any of the big brake kits.  The single piece
strut on the 80 TYP89 uses the same ball joint as the 4k, 17mm.  So that
isn't a stumbling block.  If the single piece struts can be fitted then any
number of brake kits will fit.  I can fit G60's, I already fitted a brake
kit designed to replace G60's, so the strut design isn't in question, just
wondering if the strut will work in a 4k, anyone?
