Future of the 2.7t (was: New A4 3.0l V6 QUATTRO)

My question is this. Now that the 3.0L produces this much horse power, what
will be the appropriate response with the 2.7t? Will they move to 2.9t with
a health ~ 275hp? Or will the gap simply close a bit, relegating the 2.7t's
sales to people who drive into the mountains?
