Andrew Duane gives the basic drill for U.S. (well, Massachusetts, anyway :-)
drivers license requirements, then ends with:
> Listers-- do I exaggerate?
That's mostly what goes on at this edge of the continent. The only
differences: *I* had to prove that I could parallel park, and the driving
portion of my test was conducted on public streets with an examiner in the
right seat. And I passed the test on my 16th birthday. Driving a
bright-orange 1970 Mustang fastback (in 1972), no less. One of my more
memorable birthdays...
MAC: hmmm, my '83 Audi CGT is exactly the same colors, bright orange with
black interior. And it's my least flashy car....
