This is posted to the main Quattro list, the V8 list, and the S-Car list.
For Sale: 1993 Audi V8 Quattro.
4.2L, 276 HP, 4 spd automatic, dark green, tan leather interior.

Wheels are OEM BBS 15"x7.5" wheels with Goodyear Eagle M&S tires.
The wheels in the web pictures aren't around any more.
Very nice condition, located in Columbus Ohio. I can deliver.
Asking $13,000 - open to offers.
Almost everything works, certainly all the major stuff. Right now
I need to fiddle with the left headlight wiper unit which was in a
fist fight with a car wash, and there's an intermittent ground on
the back of the instrument cluster that causes it to drop out of
cruise control every once in a while - not often.
It has a $250 U-Haul frame mounted trailer hitch I had installed.
Extras include one touch UP driver's window, and an adjustable
interval on the intermittent windshield wiper position.
The car has around 110,000 miles on it. I had the 90K service
done at a dealer when I got the car, about a year ago. The timing
belt was done at 72K according to the dealer sticker under the hood.
More information. I don't know how familiar you are with the V8's.
In 90 - 91 they had a 3.6L engine with 240 HP. '92 & '93 had a
4.2L engine with 276 HP. They were all automatics except for a few
1991's that came into the US & Canada with 5 speeds.
The 4.2 automatics are faster 0-60 than the 3.6 5 speeds :-)
Mine is something on the order of 7.1 seconds 0-60. As you can expect
with 4.2L and 276 HP the car is quite fast at whatever speed! The 3.6
would do over 150 MPH (see picture on my web page), I don't know what
the 4.2 will do.
You may wonder why I'm selling this ... I bought it before the '95 S6
came to live in the garage. After the 86 5kCSTQ, I had a Dodge diesel
pickup that Chrysler ended up repurchasing under the lemon law. That
left me searching for another car. I bought this V8 in Aug 99 before
I found the '95 S6 that also graces the driveway. I was looking for
either a nice V8 or a very clean UrS4/S6 that I could afford. This
V8 came along first ...but then when I discovered and drove the S6 in
November 99, it suddenly became affordable :-) I bought the V8 from
Steve Agostino near Utica NY.
I've now got a line on another Cummins powered Dodge pickup, only not
a new one this time. That means the V8 Quattro has to go.
If you are interested, send me your phone number and I'll call and answer
any questions you've got. And, of course deliver a sales pitch!
