"In layman's terms, the Jorgen Automotive warranty covers the rack and pinions, and power steering gearboxes it sells against remanufacturing defect for as long as the vehicle is owned by the person the product was sold to.

Labor can be covered up to $90 during the first year of use, at Jorgen Automotive's discretion, provided the
product is judged to be defective, and the unit was installed by a certified or licensed mechanic.

Jorgen Automotive provides no labor coverage on parts not installed by certified or licensed mechanics, nor does it assume any liability what so ever on these parts.

Most axles and pumps come with a lifetime replacement warranty and up to $45 for labor during the first year. However, this does vary, so please inquire at the time of purchase.

For a more exact and accurate description, please read the following work from our lawyers:

Seller warrants from the first 12 months from the date of installation, that the goods will be free of defects in material and workmanship. The warranty includes a labor reimbursement of up to $90.00 at the seller's discretion.
In addition, for rack and pinions and gearboxes sold after 10/1/90 and for as long as the end purchaser owns the vehicle, seller will provide free replacement if the unit fails due to defects in material or workmanship. Seller makes no other warranties expressed or implied, including warranties as to merchantability or as to fitness for any particular use and shall not be liable for any loss or damage, directly or indirectly, arising from the use of such goods or for consequential damages."

I add:
Realize that these disclaimers will vary by state to state, and some states don't allow the above disclaimer of merchantability...
I haven't heard of people needing the labor warrantee, so don't sweat it.
Hey, they said certified; how about I print up some fancy certificates and sell them with a dollar coin for a dollar each?
