They also make a brush on lubricant specifically for
plexiglass. Can't remember the name off the top of my
head, but we use it a lot when we're machning lexan
for my engineering classes.
WD-40 might actually work to keep it lubricated and/or
keep buildup off of the tool. Basically, it really
sucks if the stuff heats up and melts, because it'll
stick to your cutting tool or worse, get really hot,
melt and splatter on your face causing little 3rd
degree burns on your lip. Ask me how I know.
