That's called a roll pin. I didn't think I remembered
any rivets in mine either. My experience is very
similar to yours. Did it indoors at the table one
night.

It's no problem. If you did the 5k, you can do the
200. That junk is just attached around the body of
the handle. Mine has all the goodies also.
