need HELP! Window is down

I have an '89 200 non-Q with the same problem. The way I solve it is to use
the switch at the window, not driver side control, and toggle the switch
back and forth sometimes for several minutes. Push switch as if to open and
then to close, back and forth, it eventually responds on my car. I have
pulled the switch before and shorted the wires directly with no close thus
eliminating the switch or its contacts as source of problem. It may be a
short in the wires as they are flexed in the opening and closing of the
doors, but I have manipulated them while pushing the close button with no
result. I wonder if it is the regulator itself and the "jiggling" of the
frozen motor back and forth due to full toggling of the switch eventually
results in its breaking free and closing the window. Keep trying. Watch
the alternator gauge as you toggle the switch. Mine blips, which tells me
that the regulator is getting juice, just not moving.

Subject: need HELP! Window is down
Hi all.
Front right window does not go up on my 200tq 89. But it goes down from
right front door switch. Does not respond to driver side switch at all.
I expect contact problems.
But I could not figure out how to take out front right switch out.
Neither I could figure out how to remove door panel. Door handle has 3
internal hex screws. I rotate them but they don't come out although got
loose. But the handle does not move. One side became a little loose but
that's it. Big frustration. Bentley is not much of help (or I did not
find right page?).
Can I lift the window somehow cause it is getting cold overnight?
Any help will be appreciated.
Konstantin Bogach.
