Heater working intermitently

Hi all,

The heater in my V8 seems to be working on its on schedule as of late.  
Basically it works most of the time but occassionaly decides not to turn on.  
I don't think it has ever stopped working if it starts up initially.  I did 
of course check the fuse and it is fine.  Anybody have any ideas?
