Most of my notes refer specifically to the method I took to make my afterrun
stuff work.

Huw helped me physically sepearate out the wiring for the afterrun out of
the drivers side wiring harness as there is a lot of stuff in there that you
don't need.  It might even be faster to just take some relay sockets out of
a parts car and make up your own afterrun harness...  The basic idea off the
top of my head:

1) connect the 2 big fat blue/black wires on the passenger (ECU) harness
together to ignition switched power
***NOTE***** There is a small gauge blue/red wire that comes out of the ECU
harness that looks like a likely place to need switched ignition.  DON'T DO
THIS!!!!! That wire goes TO the autocheck in the 5k and if you hook it up to
+12 you risk wiping out your ECU.. ask me how I know ;-)

2) the yellow wire goes to the ecu code dump ground (momentary)
3) There is a brown/green wire that controls the fuel pump ground.. When
Nate Stuart was over helping me with my wiring he found it was easier to
wire the fuel pump into the under dash relay panel.  This made it easier to
set up the "switched" ground.. The 4kq normally has ground to the fuel pump
relay at all times (since the fuel pump relay itself is responsible for
shutting of the fuel in the event of redline etc).

4) a violet black wire also in the ECU harness needs to receive a tach
signal in order to drive your tachometer.  I think I grabbed mine somewhere
off the back of the oil pressure warning relay.
