Pretty sure that this is wrong.  I believe Graydon Stuckley (although it
might have been someone else) measured both models, and the
"Sprint"/"Sports" are shorter than the HD's.

Not necessarily- the Bilstein dealer I talked to when I bought my
shocks told me, with corroboration from Bilstein USA, that the
HDs and the Sports are the same length, with the Sports having stiffer
valving
