here here! A fresh set of blizzacks on my Coupe Quattro has turned my car
into what passerbys have called a "frigging snow plow" (hah if they could
only see Jim Blau's 4k w/ a real snow plow on the font!). We got a confirmed
14" of snow on Monday, with another 5-6 last nite. On seeing the fresh stuff
come down I decided to take a little romp through the neighborhood - even the
neighbor's Fjord Expedition was having problems! It was like driving in some
sort of a wasteland, the only cars out were either stuck, or large SUVs. In
fact, this week every single one of my familys cars (a 325i, camry, and VW
jetta) is stranded either plowed over in front of our house or plowed into
the garage. The CQ is being passed around as the official chauffer vehicle
and has allowed every single family member to get to work!

On that note, Audi interest has heightened among my family members and I have
a question - since the only Audi I've owned is my '91 CQ, can someone tell me
if any of the newer Audis have the ability to disable the ABS and lock any of
the diffs, like I can do on my CQ? Being able to turn of the ABS when the
snow is this deep is a real life saver.

And. . . .has any one ever seen this?

Bridgestone's winter driving school in Steamboat Spring, Colorado. The "high
performance" school looks like it'd be a serious blast.
