Hi Ed;
The flashing outside temp light does indeed mean the CC head has stored a
fault code. The Bentley describes how to pull the codes and how to read
them. If you are having trouble with temp control, my guess would be that
the code will point to the temp flap motor.
Sorry, don't have my 100/200 Bentley handy and I can't remember exactly how
to pull these codes - you have to push two buttons simultaneously, but I
can't remember which ones.
