Owners handbook (englisch 2.87) says:
134kW fuel injection without Cat - leaded premium grade fuel not lower than
98 RON
121kW fuel injection with Cat - unleaded premium grade fuel not lower than
95 RON
Engine no is KG023768
I note Phil's comments about LRP containing undesirable additives from the
point of view of the turbo but based
on the handbook and what's available in the UK which way do I jump? Or
should I use Super unleaded (98 RON?)?
Handbook also says I can go as low as 91 RON if necessary but only to run
light engine loading. I am confused, what
is the minimum RON that the thing needs so it can be driven normally without
engine damage, and, assuming that the
ECU can run more advance/make more power if a higher RON is used, what is
the actual difference in power output?
Sorry if this debate has been round the loop before and thanks for the link
to check ECU codes
Just checked oil level - on the minimum mark - so maybe that's what was
causing it.
I'll pull the code if it happens again anyway.
Thanks for all the help.
