Hakka 1 or not Hakka 1

I'm a biased Nokian dealer, but get Ecostuds with the Hakka1s or if you go 
studless get the Qs.  I run 17" NRWs here in upstate NY on my 2000 S4 and 15" 
on my 1995 GTiVR6.  I run Qs on my father's 2000 A8 and my mother's Lexus 
ES300.  I find dry road and wet road handling superior with the NRW, and 
slushy driving equal.  Stopping distances are noticeably less on pure snow 
and ice with the Q.
Hakka 1s, with studs, are great if you do mostly on-snow driving or don't 
really care about wet road and dry road handling (not that they're bad, but 
they are designed for drivers who spend 90% of the time ON the snow).
