i assumed there was a similar thing for europe, but in looking
at a few of my random jpgs, it seems that they are just stuck on there
somehow:
Rocky,
You got some Ingolstadt plates for your Urq, very nice.
I have some and am going through your scenario. On the back of my
car, the plate would mount with 2 screws right through the middle of the
plate, as these were stock on my car, I assume they hold
for all of europe. They are the same nylon type screw receivers
you now see on many license plate holders except of course they
are spaced for Euro plates, and there are only 2. The front bumper is smooth
as glass, without
the plugs that the US bumper has. I plan on going with an
industrial strength double sided tape, fabbing some brackets and
attaching the plate. I can not bring myself to drill any
holes in that bumper cover.
I currently run my front US plate zip tied to the lower valence.
