'80's audi door handle question

I haven't had any BTDT with the newer handles other than the nonfunctional
key cylinder in my bride's "new" V8 driver door, and I've got five
"broken" doorhandles among the four mid-80's Audis in my yard now, so I
agree that the older models are more of a pain, but there still have been
doorhandle anomalies on the newer cars. They still require more servicing
than they should for the type of cars they are.
