S6 PS pump

they all leak to some degree (at least on the older type 44's). it depends
on the severity. if you're adding pentosin often (very subjective) then i'd
replace it. but if you're just noticing some residue around the banjos or a
small puddle on your driveway [(a few drops will leave a puddle that looks
worse than it actually is, but i'm sure you know that :)] and it's not
noisy, leave it alone and address it when/if it gets worse. my .02 cents.
if you have money to burn, it's a fairly easy job (well, it is on a type
44). just a little messy. if you want details, email me directly. later.

Hi Y'all,

Today I spotted a leak from the power steering pump of my '95 S6. How big
a deal is R/Ring it? I have a price from Rod on a replacement pump $339
from ZF.
