Upper front strut bearings.

If the car in question is the one in you sig. line then no it is not
possible.  you must remove the strut assy., compress the spring (VERY
IMPORTANT), then you can loosen the nut and replace the bearing.

I recall someone saying that a type 44 or older 5k could be done without
removing the strut.  I've never owned one so I cannot confirm.
