Uh, they stay where they are...(go look at your car).

Is the Blau wiring harness worth $150?

Not to me, but if you don't have a crimper and don't know how relays
work, it might be.

Has anyone ever gotten caught when it comes time for inspection?

Hmm, don't have that here, but you could easily just swap back,
especially if you bought the Blau harness, which I think is plug and
play (no cut wires).
