200 quattro wheels

Can anyone help? I want to put 17 inch by 8 inch
wheels on my 1985, UK spec 200 quattro. It will also
be lowered by 30mm. Can both these modifications be
done? What off-sets will I have to use - the current
ET45 is too narrow (maybe ET30 ???). Any help will be
appreciated.
