Well,......, I've never crashed an A6, but, even according to the IIHS study 
the crash was survivable, with a chance of foot/leg injury.

In the photos it appears that the dummies ankles are bent back and there was 
some intrusion into the footwell area. However, I think the crash would have 
allowed all but the tallest drivers to walk away. I think the key is the 
dummy's head didn't get crushed nor his chest. His head bounced off the 
headrest the way it should have. 

They give the A6 an Average score, which means it meets Fed standards (which 
is not a 40 mph offset impact, but a 30 mph head-on). I'd rather do that 
impact in an A rated A6 than a M rated GM car. And do it with more style and 
panache than a G rated Ovlov.
