All recent Audis use chip-resistant polycarbonate lenses.
Speaking of lenses, I observe that almost all late-80s to early-90s
Volvos and Fords on the road today with the aero style headlights have
severely dulled and turned yellowish brown. Maybe Volvo had some common
trait with Ford, and was destined to be assimilated even back then! :-)
