Street seats?

I have the Targa RS seats in my CGT.  The seats themselves are excellent - 
especially considering their low price; however, the mounting brackets 
absolutely SUCK.  I eventually had to weld my own brackets in order to be 
able press any of the pedals.  I'm 5'10" tall and the stock mounting 
brackets placed the seat so far back in the car that I couldn't even TOUCH 
the pedals, let alone push any of 'em.

If you go with these seats, I can provide further information on fabricating 
the proper mounting brackets.
