dist might be 180 out? IE it is pointed at #1 on crank TDC - but rotate
the crank one full turn and the dist points the other way.
check *camshaft* TDC position - the easiest way is to pop the oil filler
cap and look at the cam lobes, the front two will point up at about 45
degree angles at "true" TDC.
