If the servo is leaking ATF, there is another problem, and rebuilding
the MC
isn't going to fix it. You most likely need a servo rebuild as well. Ben
Howell has been doing these rebuilds at his place in Colorado, I can
give
you the address if needed. He has done a few for me and they are as good
as
new.

The pressure switch on the side of the bomb valve reads continuity at
all
times. What should it read, and when? I'll check the lower (and very
messy-see above) switch tonight.

The switch should only show "continuity" when the pressure in the
accumulator is below the minimum (operating pressure). So either the
switch is toast or the bomb is. I suspect the switch, since you pass
the "pumping" test. The switch on the bottom of the regulator block
is the warning switch for the curcuit pressure. Thes are prone to
leaking/failing as well as the one on the side. Either one will turn
on the light. I am not sure if the early cars had both switches. It may
have come after the vin break 85-D-900358.
