No (was: stone chip in windshield: repairable?)

Well, the Safelite guy came by yesterday and did his thing on my
windsheild out in the parking lot.  Bottom line: TOTALLY
unsatisfactory repair.

What are my options for a new windsheild?  I'm assuming my
insurance carrier (USAA) will want to specify cheapo aftermarket
glass, if it's available, but I will refuse that.  I want glass
with four rings on it.  Is there a good deal on factory glass
available, or am I stuck with my dealer?
