Cam ID

[Renneisen, Eric E 475]

My new '85 urq has an upgraded cam from Kim Collins in the 
UK (installed 6 years ago). I'm not sure if it's aftermarket, 
or maybe just the WR cam. I plan to check it out when I pop 
the cam cover to be painted and fix a gasket leak.

I also received two spare cams with the car. They both have 
VW/Audi logos stamped into them, but no complete P/N. Can 
anyone give me the secret to identifying them? The markings 
are as follows:

- Cam #1 -
---035-----(VAG logos)-----417A

   W
--GERM---------------------MGN3

- Cam #2 -
-(triangle)---WZO---(VAG logos)---8

---034A------5008----Germany------8

I'm pretty sure one of these is the stock cam. The lobes on 
#2 are visibly sharper (less duration?). Is there any way 
to decipher the markings? 035 corresponds to the first set 
of the stock cam P/N, and 034 is found on various others. 
What's the best method of measuring their dimensions/specs?
