curious about Audi power steering.....

IMHO, the Cougar (I'm assuming that a T-Bird Turbo Coupe has a similar
feel) PS has very low effort, and absolutely (alright, very little, my
Grandma's ex-V-8 Dart had absolutely no) feel. Very hard to tell of rate
of turn in, slip angles and front end grip (tho the T-Bird had PLENTY of
that!) throught the wheel, instead, it was like piloting a giant video
game. Funny, but the same year's Mustang LX and GT V-8 was much better.
So, IMHO, the type 44 is much better on feel, though the effort seems
sometimes artificially high, and the 4KQ is nearly perfect (and better
than the type 44).
