Headlight washers. Not installed on the coupe yet. A few good hours of
following crud thrown in the air and they are reduced to the quality of
stock aeros in clear conditions.
The 90Q, which came with the washers, retains it's wonderful ability for
me to be able to barely tell the headlights are on under all
conditions. Actually washing the windsheild with the lights on is kinda
spooky, because the wipers are delayed (nice feature) for a moment until
the glass is wet. So the first thing that happens is the lights *dim*
because of the torrent of water getting sprayed at them.
Tonight the harness (the week's worth of work ridiculous "I'm gonna
relay *everything* AND stick to the color codes" harness!) was
finished... tomorrow the T85 bumper lights go in, the '01 TT (etc.)
repeaters get their holes drilled... and the H4/H1's get installed.
Early next week new fog light lenses will complete the package.
I'm gonna rewire the foglight switch so they run on "park", that way in
whiteout conditions I can just run the city lights and minimise glare.
