I was interested in buying a audi coupe Gt, or at least that is what I think it is. i happned to see it in the classifieds section. It is a 1987 audi coupe (don't know whether it is a quattro or not) but it has 137,000 miles on it. It is a 5sp. air, pw, sunroof. The guy has owned it for about 3 months. This is my first time buying a audi.What do I need to look for in these models? Are they even remotely reliable? (I have owned '83 volvo 240 turbo. It was a money pit! I don't want this to happen again. What kind of routine maintence do these cars need? Can they go a long distance without breaking down? I am a college study and reliability is a must. 
Is there a FAQs that deal with buying used audi tips?
