    I do not like this idea...generally, Audiworld attracts a totally 
different demographic than Audifans.  Frankly, I do not own a 1.8T, I work 
with them all day at work, but when I come home at night, I like a little old 
fashion Audi turbo talk.  Currently, I delete about 95% of the posts to 
Audifans, I am sure a merge to Audiworld would finish me for good- I likely 
would not have anything to do with it.  In the end, I will end up on a 
smaller list that caters to older Audis, I am sure a core group on this list 
would do the same.
    As the Sales Manager at New Dimensions, I often deal with threads on 
VWVortex and Audiworld that bash our products or service.  Often, these 
concerns that have been voiced to 10's of thousands of people could have 
easily been remedied with a 5 minute phone call.  Instead, people often 
choose to use those lists as a consumer offensive attack weapon.  I rarely 
see this happen on Audifans, I enjoy being on this list because relevant 
topics are discussed that challenge my technical abilities (save for topics 
about hippies and James Bond....)
    In this day of Mega-mergering, lets be more rational, realize that there 
are niches, and leave well enough alone....
