_Really_ mad idea!

        You're a crazy person.

Not that I have anything against crazy people. I just have to make
sure I don't do what they tell me, because I am one and know what they are
capable of. It takes one to know one. The little voices in my head tell me
so.

Enough blabbing. OK, OK, I don't have to yell at myself. Here's
what I did. I couldn't hear my engine over my stereo, so I hooked up an amp
that is about ten years old and it made the sounds for me. I think it has a
bad ground or some other internal wiring mess. It revs when I rev, it
shifts when I shift. I know it is really stupid, but I still haven't got
the feel of the vibration of the car yet and the sound helps me shift. I
still have the music, but now there's a nice hum that sounds like a V8
coming from my 400W 4way 6X9's in the rear deck (it's a really good quality
hum). Another McGyver idea that works, when it doesn't annoy me.
Question: Why use your stereo to make the sound, when you can use
the real thing, ie the car?
                                            RR
