4kq turbo project- clutch questions

My understanding is that A/T flywheels are different from manual tranny
flyweels. I was told they are thin and lightweight in A/T's b/c there's no
clutch needed, and no material wear. On manual's there is a slight bit if
wear and the thjickness and weight helps the clutch engage/disengage firmly
under power.

That said, KH engines only had A/T's, so the flywheel would need to be
different. Maybe fitting an MC w/ M/T type flywheel will help. You might
even be able to put on your old 4k flywheel, but it's prolly smaller and
the pins may not be present which is necessary for turbo engines. I don't
know for sure if A/T flywheels are different, but you need to think of all
possibilities. good luck.
