... I just spent a bit rummaging around in the garage to no avail. I'm
pretty sure mine was made by Hazet. The side benefit is that it is exactlyt
the same tool used to remove the top nuts on the strut rods on the type 44s.
AAMOF, you should be able to get the Audi P/N by looking in the 5000q or 200
Bently in the section on replacing the strut cartridges.
IME, it seems the OXS outer cover tends to expand with use, and so sometimes
it is difficult to get the socket to slide over the OXS ... but you're
removing it so you can get a bit aggressive, right?! :) You will also find
the thing is very hard to remove, but as Tom Nas suggested to me ... squirt
a little WD-40 on it ...
