5ktq speaker grille R&R

Hi gang.

Well, went to replace my damaged left speaker grille on the dash (just the 
metal cover part) with a perfect one I found in a junkyard, but when prying 
the old one out of my car, I somehow popped out the plastic cover surround, 
and I can't figure out how to get it back in there.  It's half in there, and 
half not.  There are metal pins sticking out of the dash that they are 
supposed to go in.... one is in, one is not.  Any ideas or am I missing 
something here?  I can't believe it would be this difficult.... oh wait, it's 
an Audi!   ;^)
