ya, quattros are almost 300 lbs. heavier. I think they really brought
quattros to the 5k, b/c they thought it would be a really big selling
factor, and their experience on the ur-q made it possible. They were right,
now quattro is what audi is known for. Too bad they didn't have quattro pre
'86, but maybe they hadn't had the chance to fine-tune the system for the
5k till later.
