The valve cover gasket is easy, although you need to make sure you get
the right one depending on whether you have shouldered or unshouldered
studs.  Also check the cover is truly flat between the mounting holes.

Do this first, clean the engine up, and see if it's still leaking.
Also make sure all of the visible bolts (even the trivial ones) around
the front of the engine are tight - some of them seal oilways.

The oil pump gasket is easy, but getting to it is hard and complicated
for the beginner.
