On a similar question I have been toying with the idea of putting a turbo
motor in my CGT, and I was wondering if the stock suspension, with beefed up
bushings could handle the added horsepower? In have found a suitable donor
car, but it is an automatic, so I need to change the flywheel. Has anybody
done this or heard of this? I found a German website that listed a CGT
turbo for sale, but gave little information on what exactly it was, I know
that the coupe could be had as a turbo diesel four cylinder in Germany but
the site didn't say if that this one was a diesel.

true, but all of the cases I've heard so far are '86 5kt w/ stick. I have
not heard anyone claim to own one w/ a KH engine...'84-'85, also the
Canadian market is different from USA. I would love to see an original
'84-'85 5kt US model w/ stick. Hell, I might even buy it!
