These are often very difficult to shift. Lateral force from the anti-roll
bar doesn't help.
Make sure the ARB is completely disconnected from the side you're working
on.
Spray the general area where the pin is binding in the socket.
It usually shifts a little and then binds fast.
Appropriate use of a large lever usually sorts it out now.
If not, consider undoing the inner end of the control arm - that makes it
much easier.
I've even resorted to widening the clamp slightly using a BIG screwdriver or
cold chisel - the books and experts say not to do this as the clamp will be
permanently enlarged, and won't grip the pin properly any more - however, if
the bugger won't shift . . .
