Hi Pat,

I took a chance on adding a www before the 20v
in the URL you sent and connected with 20v.org
(http://www.20v.org/20v/remote.htm).  That's a
fantastic writeup, and it sounds like Brian Ulmer
was as thorough as any engineer when he described
the keyless entry system for Audis.  The 20v.org
also seems like a fantastically well organized
site, although not all the information applies
directly to my 1990 Audi 100.

Thanks a lot for the information.  I printed out
Brian's description, and your procedure and feel
armed enough to tackle this improvement.  I may
try shopping for the keyless remote controller
at Sams Discount, since my brother-in-law seems
happy with their stuff and thought they had them
for about $50.  Thanks again.
