GOTCHA!!!

Those wonderfully regularly spaced bolt holes are nothing of the kind,
though it's hard to spot from a glance.  In fact, the I5 flywheel
will only bolt to the crank in one orientation.  You have to place the
flywheel on the crank and spin it until _ALL_ the holes line up.

I find it helps immensely to have the engine vertical - I use a Black
and Decker Workmate with the jaws opened so the front of the crank
and the oil pump locating pegs are held firm enough to stop minor
rotational forces.  I then use a BFS between the flywheel gear and
one of the locating spigots (handle held under my arm) and a torque
wrench in the other to do the flywheel bolts up.

Flywheel bolts fall into the 'powder coated' category we were
discussing earlier - they must be replaced with new every time the
flywheel is remounted.
