Weird Steering Problem??

Hi all,

Car is 1989 Audi 100.

I didn't drive the car the whole day. Tonight I took off the steering wheel
to check out some stuff. Then I put it back on and tighten the bolt.

Drove out to buy some stuff.

On the road, everytime I go to a complete stop and accelerating again, the
car would jerk to the left then to the right. It only happens after a
COMPLETE stop. It doesn't happen when I turn, accelerate from slow speed,
or normal driving. What is this?? This never happened before. It feels as
the left wheel didn't turn for a second, while the right one did, so it
jerked to the left. But after 1 second the left one started turning and it
jerked back to the right.

So I got back and took out the steering wheel and retighten the bolt. This
time not as tight.

Drove out again, it didn't happen, except for once. I stopped at least 10
times, and 9 times I accelerated fine no problem, except for once.

Any clues? Thanks!

Martin
