Hello all you 4K owners. I am selling my sport cam I bought for my 4KQ
about a year ago, it still looks brand new and put about 25,000 miles on it.
It gives a small power increase over the stock cam. This is benificial
for some people, more power is always benificial in any application. It
changed my power bands a little and made them longer and harder pulling.
This cam was espcially noticed up hills. It aided in the pull, rather than
the stock dogging up the hill. I like it and think it is really worth the
money I spent having it made. Its degree is 264 over the stock degree of 245
(which I was told it was). I had it custom made for a 5 cyl. with Jectron
CIS-E injection, 2.2L engine. Nice part to add to your customization list.
Another aspect that makes this cam stand out is the change in sound of your
exhaust. At idle, the sound becomes more throaty and the natural 5cyl rap
is brought out by the cam in higher RPM bands. Its a nice touch that makes
your car sound a little sporty too. And others will notice it. I liked it,
but must part with it, as I am upgrading even further and have no need for
it anymore. Make an offer!! But please be reasonalbe considering that you
can get a new schrick cam for $500. It is used but is practicaly new, it
looks new! And I also will be taking my A/C out and all of its other parts
out to conserve weight. So please make and offer there too. It works
great, the compressor works 100% and the condensor was repaired back to 100%
a year ago and still remains 100%, and everything else is in great shape.
If anyone needs the A/C sooner I will pull it right away. Thanks for
reading this guys, I hope I might interst some of you. Later.
