You had to know this was coming...
So, much like the Donner party, I'm stranded in the cold
only a few miles away from where that tragic series of
events occurred. I never got away from Ray's house.
The ur-q turns over, but won't start. Plenty of battery
juice, and fuel is there. Confirmed no spark. Resistance
checks on coil are OK. Bentley not much help, but IST
has lots of checks to do at the F/TCU. Do I have to
remove the glovebox to get the plug off?
The car ran great yesterday, but last night and today the
temperature is much colder (hasn't gotten above
freezing). Is there a particular sensor that might
misbehave by cutting ignition when things get frigid? Ray
is going for a space heater to see if that'll help.
Any help much appreciated. Please respond direct. I'm
starting to crave human flesh...
TIA,
Eric Renneisen
