5K Radiator Q

I've been a bit hampered in my attempt to replace my 5k's radiator
mounts by the rather cold temps and snow (no time to be under a leaky
radiator catching antifreeze drips).

Never having done this before I thought that I might be able to replace
the lower mounts from above, but now have my doubts after looking at the
situation.

My question to those that have BTDT is:  am I missing something, is it
possible to replace the lower radiator mounts from above, without
draining and removing the radiator?
