I would check the items that take coil voltage (tested
good) and "distribute" it to the plugs (no spark).
First item on my list would be the connector on the
distributor body. Open up the plastic trapdoor and
check the wires. Clean/repair if necessary. Next
check the distributor itself. How old is the
cap/rotor? Does the shaft have play in it? (worn
bushings) Finally I think your problem is probably
the hall effect sender. They can go intermittant
under some environmental conditions. Too hot/cold/wet
have all done it. I don't know the cost of the hall
sender for your car, but for other Merican iron it's
not too expensive and I usually change them on the 2nd
tune-up at 100-150k miles. Some others change them
with the O2 sensor. That's one of the "funny" parts
that can strand you in a heartbeat with no prior
warning.
